MEMBERSHIP Open to all UP Alumni

  • Holders of any diploma, title or certificate or who were former regular students of the University of the Philippines, having earned at least sixty (60) academic units, and not having been dismissed for misconduct or scholastic deficiency

  • Graduates from the UP‚Äč ‚ÄčIntegrated School, UP Preparatory School, UP High School, UP Rural High School, UP Baguio High School, UP Cebu High School and UP Visayas High School

To enable UP alumni to support the
Alma Mater in its role in nation building and its pursuit of
academic excellence and honor

The mission of UPAAA is to promote and support the alma mater
as a premier institution of learning as it pursues
academic excellence and preeminence in nation-building.  
It also aims to connect with alumni locally and globally through
meaningful programs, services and communications.

History of UPAAA
The University of the Philippines Alumni Association in America was founded in 1981 by a group of graduates of the University of the Philippines in New Jersey, led by Dr. Arsenio Talingdan. with the primary aim to unite UP alumni associations in America and to work for the preservation of the UP System  as the national center for academic excellence, freedom  and service. In more than three decades, UPAAA, Inc. has held nineteen General Assemblies/Conventions of UP alumni in the US.                                                Read more...
